Editorial Policy

This page explains how WIKIPICKY Media decides what to publish and how we check it. It applies to every article on the site.

What we cover

We report on Korean entertainment and culture for an international English-language audience: K-pop, Korean drama and film, variety, celebrity news, and related lifestyle topics. We prioritize stories where we can add context, not only repeat a headline.

How we verify facts

  • We check key facts against more than one source where possible, such as an official announcement, an agency or broadcaster statement, a chart or database, or Korean-language reporting.
  • We attribute claims to the source that made them. When a fact comes from a single report, we say so.
  • We separate confirmed facts from rumors, speculation and fan reaction, and we label each one.
  • We do not publish sensitive allegations about private individuals without reliable confirmation.

Sources and links

We name our sources in the article and link to the original material when it is publicly available, such as an official post, a press release or a chart page.

Images and credits

Images come from official sources, licensed agencies, or the publisher’s own archive. Captions credit the source. If you believe an image is used without permission, contact us at wp@wikipickymedia.com and we will review it.

Sponsored and commercial content

Advertising appears on this site. Sponsored or paid content is labeled as such and kept separate from our editorial coverage. Sponsored articles state that they are advertisements at both the beginning and the end of the article.

Corrections

We correct errors promptly. See our Corrections page for how to report one and how we mark updates.
