A YG representative confirmed the news on October 20, stating, “BLACKPINK’s album is in its final phase. The members are deeply focused on perfecting every detail before filming begins.” However, the agency remained tight-lipped about the album’s title, concept, and release schedule, only adding that, “Once preparations are complete, fans will be updated through an official promotion schedule.”
This comeback will mark BLACKPINK’s first major album release in nearly three years, following their 2022 hit album “Born Pink.” Since then, the group has continued to dominate the global stage, dropping singles, collaborating with international artists, and headlining record-breaking tours.
YG’s executive producer Yang Hyun-suk previously hinted in August that BLACKPINK’s comeback would arrive before the end of the year. “The members and producers have been working tirelessly,” he said. “We hope to deliver something that exceeds global expectations an album that truly defines BLACKPINK’s next chapter.”
Still Owning the Global Stage
