JTBC’s new drama Waiting for Kyung-do (written by Yoo Young-ah, directed by Lim Hyun-wook) released a script reading preview on October 24. About the Drama
Waiting for Kyung-do is a romance drama following the story of Lee Kyung-do (Park Seo-joon) and Seo Ji-woo (Won Ji-an), who experience love, breakups, and eventual reunion. The narrative becomes more complicated when the characters meet again as a journalist covering an affair scandal and the scandal’s spouse.
Park Seo-joon portrays Lee Kyung-do, a deputy chief at Dongwoon Daily’s entertainment department. He is a character with deep, enduring affection, portrayed across three stages of life: age 20, 28, and late 30s, showing the subtle passage of time.
Won Ji-an plays Kyung-do’s first love, Seo Ji-woo. She balances stunning beauty with a bold, fearless personality, seamlessly transitioning from youthful innocence to mature adulthood.
Chemistry and Ensemble Cast
