K-pop powerhouse aespa is making history once again — the girl group has officially announced large-scale dome concerts in Japan, solidifying their status as one of the leading global acts in K-pop.

During their two sold-out shows at Tokyo’s National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium on November 8–9, attended by over 24,000 fans, aespa surprised the audience with major news: the group will perform at Kyocera Dome Osaka on April 11–12 and Tokyo Dome on April 25–26, 2025 as part of their ongoing world tour, “2025 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK: aeXIS LINE – in JAPAN.”

The announcement immediately sparked excitement among fans, marking aespa’s return to Tokyo Dome for the third consecutive year — an unprecedented achievement for an international female artist. The addition of Kyocera Dome, one of Japan’s five major domes, further cements their expansion into the nation’s biggest concert venues.

aespa previously made headlines in 2023 when they became the fastest foreign artist ever to perform at Tokyo Dome after debut, and in 2024 as the first female international act to hold solo shows there for two consecutive years. Their upcoming dome appearances now represent the next milestone in their rapid global ascent.

Currently, aespa is in the midst of a 10-show arena tour across major Japanese cities, each attracting crowds of more than 10,000 fans. The group will continue their world tour throughout Asia — including Bangkok (Nov 15–16), Hong Kong (Feb 7–8, 2026), Macau (Mar 7–8), and Jakarta (Apr 4) — before their much-anticipated dome finales in Japan.

In addition to touring, aespa will appear on Amazon Music Live on November 13 (local time), performing as the most-streamed artist on the platform’s “K-Pop Now” playlist.

With back-to-back milestones and a global fanbase that keeps growing, aespa’s latest announcement proves their unstoppable momentum and expanding influence in the international music scene.

Editor’s Insight

The move to add these massive dome dates to the SYNK : aeXIS LINE tour is a strategic masterpiece by SM Entertainment. While most groups celebrate a single Tokyo Dome appearance as a career peak, aespa has made it an annual tradition. By the time they step onto the Tokyo Dome stage this month (April 2026), they will have achieved something unprecedented: three consecutive years of sold-out shows at the venue as an international female artist.

What’s particularly impressive about this leg of the tour is the setlist evolution. Fans attending the Dome shows are expected to see the “Special Edition” treatment, featuring Japanese-exclusive tracks like “Hot Mess” and “Sun and Moon” alongside their 2025-2026 hits like “Whiplash” and “Rich Man.”

From an industry perspective, their Amazon Music Live performance and their dominance on the “K-Pop Now” playlist show that their digital power is perfectly aligned with their physical touring demand. aespa isn’t just a “metaverse” concept anymore—they are the literal blueprint for 5th-generation success. If 2024 was about “Supernova” viral fame, 2026 is about cementing their status as the undisputed Queens of the Dome.
