FIFTY FIFTY has conquered France. The rising K-pop girl group achieved a remarkable milestone by topping multiple French music charts with their latest collaboration track.
A Powerful East–West Collaboration
On November 7, FIFTY FIFTY released the French movie soundtrack ‘Oulalalala’ from the film Yoroi. The track features French rapper Orelsan, known for his bold lyricism and genre-blending artistry. Together, the two acts created a unique synergy that bridges K-pop’s polished pop sensibilities and French hip-hop’s raw energy.
Built on a hypnotic beat and dreamy melody, ‘Oulalalala’ layers Orelsan’s rhythmic flow over FIFTY FIFTY’s ethereal vocals. The result is a captivating fusion both cinematic and addictive — that resonated instantly with global listeners.
Dominating the French Music Scene
Following its release, the Yoroi OST quickly climbed to the top of the Apple Music France Album Chart, securing the #1 spot. The song also ranked high across iTunes, Spotify France, and Deezer Song Charts, proving the growing influence of K-pop in European mainstream music.
This marks a historic moment for both artists. It’s the first major K-pop × French hip-hop crossover to claim multiple chart-topping positions in France, showcasing how cultural collaboration can redefine global pop music boundaries.
FIFTY FIFTY’s Ongoing Global Momentum
Beyond their success overseas, FIFTY FIFTY continues to shine domestically. Their third digital single, ‘Too Much Part 1’, demonstrated their signature sound — a blend of dreamy pop and futuristic rhythm now dubbed “Fifty Pop.”
The group’s latest achievements highlight their growing presence in international markets, adding another milestone to their post-debut rise. “Orelsan’s artistry inspired us deeply,” the group shared. “We wanted to create something new and we’re proud that this song connected with listeners around the world.”
