BTS’s Jimin Makes K-pop History Again — “Who” Becomes the Most-Streamed Song Ever in 7 Countries on Spotify

BTS’s Jimin has just set another groundbreaking global record — and it’s one no other K-pop act has ever achieved.

Jimin’s second solo album title track “Who” became the Most Streamed Song of All Time on Spotify in seven different countries: South Korea, Bulgaria, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Venezuela, Singapore and Latvia.
This marks the first and only time a K-pop artist has held this achievement.

7 Countries, 1 Record — Jimin Dominates

On Spotify Korea alone, Who surpassed 83 million filtered streams, keeping its position as the platform’s most-streamed song ever in the country.

Meanwhile, Like Crazy, the title track from his first solo album, also passed 50 million streams.
With both songs crossing major milestones, Jimin remains the only artist on the Korean Spotify chart with multiple songs above 50 million streams.

A Global Smash: 2 Billion Streams Worldwide

The momentum isn’t stopping domestically.

On October 24, Who hit a massive 2 billion filtered streams on Spotify Global, just 461 days after release.
This makes it:

  • the first and only Asian solo song to surpass 2 billion streams
  • the fastest song by an Asian male artist to reach this number

The global impact is unmistakable.

U.S. Record: 430 Million Streams

In the U.S. market — the world’s biggest music industry — Who recorded 430 million streams, ranking 84th on the all-time most-streamed songs list.

This makes it the highest-streaming K-pop track ever in U.S. Spotify history and the only K-pop song to exceed 430 million streams on the platform.

More Countries, More Milestones

Jimin continues to set new numbers across major music markets:

  • Brazil, Japan, Thailand → each surpassed 100 million streams
  • Chile → reached 98 million, making Jimin the first and only Asian artist to achieve this milestone

With every update, Who proves itself as one of the most globally successful solo releases ever from a K-pop act.

Jimin: The K-pop Artist Who Constantly Rewrites History

From local charts to global rankings, Jimin keeps extending K-pop’s reach while setting new standards for Asian artists worldwide.
With “Who” continuing to climb and new milestones appearing almost monthly, fans are celebrating yet another chapter in Jimin’s record-breaking journey.
