IVE member Leeseo is officially leaving her position as MC of SBS Inkigayo, marking the end of a lively and memorable chapter on Sunday afternoons.
Leeseo joined the show in April 2024 and quickly became known for her bright energy, stable hosting skills, and natural on-screen presence. Over the past 1 year and 7 months, she has grown from a fresh newcomer to one of Inkigayo’s most beloved MCs.

A Busy Schedule, and a Bittersweet Farewell
Due to her packed activities as a member of IVE, Leeseo will be stepping down at the end of the year. Her final broadcast will air this week, where she is expected to share her last goodbye with viewers and fans.
PD Choi Chang-won, who leads Inkigayo, expressed deep appreciation:
“The entire production team is sad to say goodbye to Leeseo, whom we truly adore. Her bright, energetic presence motivated the staff every week. We sincerely thank her for her love and dedication.”
He added that sharing Leeseo’s radiant teenage years on the show was an honor:
“We were lucky to spend her shining teen years together. We hope her path ahead is filled with even more brilliance, and we look forward to the day we can work with her again.”
Leeseo’s Message to Fans and Viewers
Ahead of her final broadcast, Leeseo shared heartfelt reflections:
“It has been an honor to spend every Sunday with DIVE and Inkigayo viewers for 1 year and 7 months.”
She added:
“Every Sunday felt like a gift. Even though I was inexperienced at first, viewers supported me so warmly that I can end this journey happily.”
She also expressed gratitude to fans, the Inkigayo team, her agency staff, and fellow MCs, promising:
“This is only a temporary goodbye to MC Leeseo. I’ll return with even better performances as IVE’s Leeseo, so please continue supporting me.”
Leeseo’s final appearance as MC will air Sunday, December 7 at 3:20 PM KST on SBS Inkigayo.
A New Chapter for the Youngest Member of IVE
Born in 2007, Leeseo debuted with IVE at the age of 15. The group recently celebrated their 4th debut anniversary on December 1, and Leeseo is set to graduate from Hanlim Arts High School early next year — marking another big milestone in her journey.
