EXO is officially kicking off 2026 with a long-awaited comeback. The group will return with a brand-new full-length album, marking their first team release in over two years. On December 15, SM Entertainment announced that EXO will release their 8th full album, REVERXE, on January 19, 2026. Pre orders for the album will open at noon on the same day, immediately igniting excitement among fans worldwide.

First Group Album in Two and a Half Years
REVERXE will be EXO’s first group album in approximately two years and six months. Their most recent release was the 7th full album EXIST, which dropped in July 2023 and achieved strong commercial and critical success. The upcoming album signals a renewed chapter for EXO as they move into 2026 with a clear intention to reconnect with fans through music and performance.
A Surprise Preview at Fan Meeting
Ahead of the official comeback announcement, EXO reunited with fans at their fan meeting “EXO’verse,” held on December 14 at Inspire Arena in Incheon. During the event, the group gave fans a special first listen to “I’m Home,” a track included in the upcoming album.
The fan meeting also featured a wide-ranging setlist that highlighted EXO’s career-spanning discography. Performances included beloved hits such as “Growl,” “Peter Pan,” “The First Snow,” “Unfair,” “Love Shot,” and “CALL ME BABY,” turning the night into a celebration of the group’s legacy.
A Message to EXO-Ls
As the event came to a close, the members shared heartfelt words with fans. “We’ve been dreaming of this day for so long, and now that it’s finally here, we’re truly happy,” they said, expressing gratitude to EXO-Ls for their patience and trust. They continued, “Thank you for believing in us and waiting. From now on, we’ll continue to come to you more often with even better versions of ourselves.” The group also made a clear promise for the year ahead, stating, “We’ll work hard to make 2026 a year filled with EXO.”
