Singer and actress Kim Sejeong is set to release her first single album “Solar System” today (December 17) at 6 p.m. KST, delivering warm comfort to fans at home and abroad.
Solar System is a reinterpretation of the original song by Sung Si-kyung, first released in 2011. Kim Sejeong reimagines the beloved track through her own emotional lens, preserving its lingering sentiment while expanding it into a more personal and introspective musical universe.
The song conveys gentle reassurance to those who continue moving forward at their own pace while carrying traces of love. Kim Sejeong described the single as capturing the feeling of becoming the moon and stars beside someone who feels like sunlight and an entire world — creating a different “solar system” from the original.
Adding to anticipation, acclaimed musician Jukjae participated as the producer, enhancing the track’s emotional depth. He explained that the song was crafted like a quiet monologue, designed to breathe naturally alongside Kim Sejeong’s vocals.
