BTS leader RM has opened up about his feelings toward the group’s agency, expressing a desire for deeper emotional support, while fellow member Jin responded with a calm reassurance during a recent group live broadcast.
On December 21, BTS connected with fans through a live stream on the fan community platform Weverse, where the members shared updates on their current lives and spoke candidly about their long-awaited group comeback planned for 2026. As they gathered around a cake prepared for the broadcast, the conversation naturally turned toward the future.

Looking ahead, RM confidently declared, “Let’s make 2026 the year of BTS. Something really big is coming.” j-hope echoed the sentiment, emphasizing that 2026 would be a particularly meaningful year for the group.
Amid the hopeful atmosphere, the members also reflected on the emotional weight of time passing. J-Hope admitted he could hardly believe that 2025 was already nearing its end, while Jimin shared that this period of waiting has been especially difficult for him.

The tone shifted when RM spoke honestly about his relationship with the company, Big Hit Music, saying he wished the agency would show more affection and emotional care toward the members. Jin responded gently, pointing out that the company still works hard for them. RM, however, added that he hoped to feel more embraced and supported overall, drawing attention from fans for his sincerity.
RM’s candid remarks followed earlier live broadcasts in which he addressed fans’ frustrations over BTS’s extended hiatus. He acknowledged the disappointment surrounding delayed activities and revealed that the group had faced difficult internal discussions. RM admitted that he had repeatedly questioned whether continuing as a team was the right choice, but ultimately emphasized that BTS’s bond with each other—and their respect and love for fans—kept them together.

He also addressed questions about the lack of group activities in the latter half of 2025, explaining that while the members wanted to be active, certain decisions were made for reasons he could not fully disclose. RM shared that the long break since BTS’s last concert in October 2022 has been personally challenging, adding that although he deeply wants to perform again, the pressure and need for proper preparation feel heavier than ever.
As BTS looks toward 2026, the group’s honesty has once again resonated with fans worldwide—offering a reminder that behind their global success lies a story of vulnerability, reflection, and a shared commitment to move forward together.
