DAY6 has reached a long awaited milestone, marking a new chapter in the band’s decade long journey. The music video for ‘You Were Beautiful’ has officially surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, becoming DAY6’s first ever video to reach the nine figure mark. The achievement carries added meaning for the band, as the song has steadily grown in love and recognition years after its initial release.

A Song That Aged with Its Listeners
Released in February 2017 as the title track of ‘Every DAY6 February’, ‘You Were Beautiful’ reflects on a past relationship with quiet honesty, revisiting memories that remain beautiful even after love has faded.
The song’s restrained melody and emotionally grounded lyrics resonated deeply with listeners, gradually becoming one of DAY6’s most representative tracks. Over time, it has evolved into a staple of the band’s identity often cited by fans as a song that feels different at every stage of life.
A Milestone Built Over Time
Unlike instant-hit music videos driven by trends, ‘You Were Beautiful’ reached 100 million views through steady, long-term support. The milestone reflects not only the song’s replay value, but also DAY6’s reputation for sincerity and musical consistency. As the band celebrates its 10th debut anniversary this year, the timing of the achievement underscores the longevity of their catalog and the lasting connection they’ve built with listeners.
A Decade of Growth and Continuity
In 2025, DAY6 commemorated their 10th anniversary with a series of releases, including the digital single ‘Maybe Tomorrow’, their fourth full length album ‘The Decade’, and the holiday track ‘Loving the Christmas’. Each release reinforced the band’s commitment to storytelling rooted in emotion and lived experience. They also wrapped up the year with a special concert, ‘The Present’, held from December 19 to 21 at KSPO DOME in Seoul sharing the moment directly with fans.
Looking Ahead to the Next Stage
DAY6 will continue their momentum into the new year with a global tour beginning January 17–18 in Hong Kong, followed by stops in Manila, Kuala Lumpur, and additional cities.
