According to industry sources on December 24, Lay has decided not to participate in the new season of the reality travel show EXO’s Ladder: World Travel. The season was initially planned with six members — Suho, Kai, D.O., Sehun, Chanyeol, and Lay — but will now proceed without him.

EXO’s Ladder: World Travel is a popular web variety series where the members’ travel itinerary — from destinations to accommodations — is determined by a game of chance using a ladder system. The show has previously taken fans to Japan (2018), Taiwan (2019), Namhae (2022), and Geoje & Tongyeong (2023).
