SEVENTEEN closed out their 10th debut anniversary year by rewriting the record books, achieving unprecedented milestones through group, unit, and solo activities that cemented their status at the very top of K-pop.
The group recently dominated the ‘2025 Billboard K-pop Artist 100’, sweeping the very top of the ranking. All 13 members placed consecutively from No. 1 to No. 13, a feat that underscored SEVENTEEN’s unmatched collective and individual influence. The chart aggregates performance across major indicators, including Billboard 200, Hot 100, Global 200, Billboard Boxscore, as well as domestic streaming and album sales.

Chart Power and Critical Recognition
SEVENTEEN’s fifth full length album ‘HAPPY BURSTDAY’ debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 (June 14 chart), while its title track topped major Korean digital charts. Billboard praised the group, noting that they were “enjoying the peak of their career in their 10th year” and had “further solidified their position as one of the most influential K-pop groups today.”
Dominance in Live Performance
SEVENTEEN’s presence extended powerfully into the global touring market. Throughout the year, the group held 38 solo concerts across Korea, Japan, and North America, drawing a total audience of over 1.26 million fans. Their large scale fan meetings were also held in stadium venues, showcasing their formidable ticket power.
This momentum helped HYBE enter Billboard’s annual Boxscore ‘Top Promoters’ Big 4, highlighting SEVENTEEN’s impact not only as performers but as a driving force in the live music industry.
Historic “Firsts” for K-pop
In May, SEVENTEEN made history by becoming the first K-pop act to hold a solo performance on Seoul’s Jamsu Bridge, celebrating their 10th anniversary with the ‘B-DAY PARTY’ event. The celebration extended to Sebitseom as well, drawing a combined 550,000 attendees. Iconic bridges across Seoul were illuminated in SEVENTEEN’s signature colors, turning the city into a massive anniversary tribute.
Unit Projects and Expanding Identity
Beyond full group activities, SEVENTEEN showcased remarkable versatility through unit releases. The group released ‘HAPPY BURSTDAY’, while BSS (Seungkwan, DK, Hoshi) returned with their second single album ‘Teleparty’. Hoshi x Woozi debuted their first single album ‘Beam’, and S.Coups x Mingyu released their first mini album ‘HYPE VIBES’. Each unit highlighted a distinct musical identity. BSS topped charts immediately upon comeback, while S.Coups x Mingyu set new first week sales records, signaling strong demand across all sub units.

Looking Ahead
SEVENTEEN shows no signs of slowing down in 2026. DK and Seungkwan will release their first unit mini album ‘SOYAGOK’ on January 12, followed by the group’s ‘NEW_’ world tour, scheduled to visit four Asian cities between February and March.

As they move into their second decade, SEVENTEEN continues to expand their scale, influence, and artistic range proving that their most defining chapters may still lie ahead.
