On December 30, distributor JNC Media Group announced that the film ‘Everyday We Are’, starring Kim Saeron and Lee Chaemin, has confirmed its theatrical release for February 2026. Directed by Kim Minjae, the film marks Kim Saeron’s last completed project.

A Youth Romance Born From First Confession
We Were Everyday is based on a popular webtoon of the same name and tells a tender coming-of-age romance that begins with a childhood friend’s confession. Set at the emotionally turbulent age of 17, the story explores confusion, first love, and the fragile moments that define youth.
Kim Saeron plays Han Yeoul, a high school girl whose world is thrown into disarray after receiving an unexpected confession from a longtime friend just before entering high school. The film captures Kim’s bright, youthful presence, preserving the warmth and charm that defined her performances.
Lee Chae-min’s Fresh Romantic Turn
Opposite her, Lee Chaemin stars as Oh Hosoo, a boy who gradually realizes his first feelings of love toward Yeoul. The role showcases a softer, more innocent side of the actor, standing in contrast to his recent intense and mature characters. The pairing has drawn interest for its natural chemistry and nostalgic tone, positioning the film as a gentle youth romance rather than a conventional melodrama.
Teaser Poster Raises Emotional Anticipation
Alongside the release announcement, a teaser poster was unveiled, depicting the two leads standing together under an umbrella in the rain. The tagline, “Does first love really never come true?”, hints at the emotional weight and lingering questions at the heart of the story.
‘Everyday We Are’ is scheduled to open in theaters this February, expected to resonate deeply with audiences as both a heartfelt youth romance and a meaningful final chapter in Kim Saeron’s filmography.
