GRAMMY Nominated KATSEYE Says 2026 Will Be Even Bigger

Global girl group KATSEYE is closing out 2025 on a historic high, signaling an even more ambitious year ahead after earning two GRAMMY nominations and completing a sold-out North American tour.

In a year-end message following their tour finale, the group confidently shared, “2026 will be an even more incredible year. A Breakout Year on the Global Stage

KATSEYE first captured widespread attention in April with their experimental digital single ‘Gnarly,’ which entered the UK Official Singles Top 100 and the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, signaling their arrival on the global charts.

Their momentum accelerated further in June with ‘Gabriela,’ a Latin pop inspired release that showcased the group’s maturity and versatility. The track reached No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100, cracked Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global Top 10, and became their highest-charting release to date.

Both songs were included in their second EP, ‘BEAUTIFUL CHAOS,’ which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, confirming the group’s album power alongside their singles success.

Sold-Out Tour and Cultural Impact

KATSEYE’s influence extended beyond streaming and charts. The group performed at major global festivals including Lollapalooza Chicago and Summer Sonic 2025, earning praise for their commanding live presence.

Their first solo North American tour, The BEAUTIFUL CHAOS Tour, was initially planned for 13 shows but expanded to 16 sold out dates, including additional performances in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles due to overwhelming demand.

During the same period, KATSEYE partnered with global fashion brand GAP for the “Better in Denim” campaign a collaboration that was later cited directly by GAP’s CEO during an earnings call, underscoring the group’s growing cultural and commercial influence.

GRAMMY Recognition Seals the Moment

KATSEYE’s defining achievement of 2025 came with their nomination at the 68th GRAMMY Awards, where they were recognized in two categories:

  • Best New Artist
  • Best Pop Duo/Group Performance

The Best New Artist nomination one of the GRAMMYs’ prestigious “Big Four” categories is especially notable, as nominations for girl groups in this category remain rare.

Major outlets including CNN and ABC News highlighted the significance of the nomination, calling KATSEYE’s recognition a reflection of a “career defining year” and an uncommon achievement for a multinational girl group.

Looking Ahead to 2026

With global tours, chart success, viral reach, and GRAMMY recognition now behind them, attention turns to what comes next for KATSEYE.
