SEVENTEEN has once again proven its unrivaled presence in K-pop, landing six albums on the Circle Chart’s 2025 year end album rankings, the most entries by any artist this year.

According to the 2025 Circle Chart Annual Chart, released on January 9, SEVENTEEN placed a total of six physical releases within the Top 100 albums list. This achievement marks the highest number of charting albums by a single act, reinforcing the group’s reputation as a top-tier global idol group.

Six Albums, One Dominant Year

SEVENTEEN’s fifth full-length album ‘HAPPY BURSTDAY’ ranked No. 2 in its standard version, while its Kit version and Weverse version also entered the chart at No. 94 and No. 99, respectively.

In addition, several unit releases made strong appearances:

  • S.COUPS x MINGYU – ‘HYPE VIBES’ (No. 24)
  • BSS (Seungkwan, DK, Hoshi) – ‘TELEPARTY’ (No. 45)
  • HOSHI x WOOZI – ‘BEAM’ (No. 61)

All six releases debuted in 2025, highlighting SEVENTEEN’s ability to sustain momentum across both group and unit activities throughout the year.

Triple Million Seller Milestone

‘HAPPY BURSTDAY’ surpassed 3 million cumulative sales, including all physical formats, officially earning triple million seller status. This marks SEVENTEEN’s seventh album to reach the milestone, following releases such as ‘Face the Sun’, ‘FML’, ‘SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN’, and ‘SPILL THE FEELS’. The album also achieved major success internationally, peaking at No. 2 on Billboard 200, securing SEVENTEEN’s seventh consecutive Top 10 entry on the chart.

Global Recognition and Critical Acclaim

Beyond commercial performance, SEVENTEEN’s music earned critical recognition. Billboard included ‘HAPPY BURSTDAY’ in its “25 Best K-pop Albums of 2025”, praising the record as a reflection of the group’s creative peak.

The title track ‘THUNDER’ charted across multiple Circle Chart annual categories, including Global K-pop, Digital, Streaming, and Download rankings. It was also named among The Hollywood Reporter’s “40 Best K-pop Songs of 2025,” further solidifying its artistic impact.

What’s Next for SEVENTEEN

SEVENTEEN’s momentum continues into 2026. Vocal unit DK and Seungkwan will release their first mini-album ‘SOYAGOK’ on January 12, while S.COUPS and MINGYU kick off their unit tour ‘CxM [DOUBLE UP] LIVE PARTY’ later this month.

The full group will also embark on the ‘SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN ASIA’, performing at major stadiums across Asia in February and March.
