First Full Album Release in Nearly Four Years

This marks BLACKPINK’s first album-scale comeback since BORN PINK was released in September 2022. Following that era, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa focused on individual projects, each establishing strong solo identities and achieving remarkable results on global charts.

Despite their separate paths, the members reunited in mid-2025 to launch the DEADLINE World Tour, reconnecting with fans around the globe.

World Tour Reunion and Pre-Release Momentum

The tour kicked off with a major stadium concert in Korea, followed by performances across multiple countries. During the tour, BLACKPINK surprised fans by unveiling “JUMP”, a pre-release track from the upcoming album, reinforcing their signature global impact even before the official comeback.

Originally planned for late 2025, the album release was postponed to further enhance musical quality. The delay has only heightened anticipation, as expectations grow for the group’s next chapter.

A Decade of Global Hits and Evolution

Since debuting in August 2016, BLACKPINK has delivered a string of iconic hits including DDU-DU DDU-DU, Kill This Love, How You Like That, Pink Venom, and Shut Down. Their distinct sound and performance style helped establish them as one of K-pop’s most influential acts on the global stage.

At the same time, each member’s solo journey has expanded the group’s artistic range, making their reunion even more significant.

What’s Next for BLACKPINK?

With upcoming tour stops in Tokyo (January 16–18) and Hong Kong (January 24–26), BLACKPINK is expected to shift full focus to comeback promotions immediately after. Fans are eagerly watching to see where the group will first perform their new music and how their evolved artistry will come together in this long-awaited release.

As BLACKPINK enters its second decade, all eyes are on DEADLINE and the new records the group is poised to set.
