Rosé of BLACKPINK has graced the cover of ELLE Korea’s February issue, unveiling a side of herself that feels both deeply reflective and confidently free.
On January 16, ELLE released its latest pictorial and interview with Rosé, showcasing her elegant visuals alongside candid thoughts on a year that marked a major turning point in her career. Looking back on the past year, Rosé described it as a time filled with emotions that are hard to define.
“It was a year where I was fortunate enough to experience an even greater kind of love. Joy and sadness, celebration and laughter, excitement and challenge all existed together. Through all of that, I learned so much,” she shared.
The year saw Rosé balancing multiple milestones at once, including her solo music activities, BLACKPINK’s group releases, a global world tour, and international recognition on one of music’s biggest stages. Her collaboration with Bruno Mars, “APT.”, earned three nominations at the 68th Grammy Awards, a moment she described as surreal.
“It honestly feels like a dream. Being nominated alongside artists I admired growing up doesn’t feel real,” Rosé said. “I’m grateful to live in a time where music connects global fans through a shared platform, and that I get to be part of that experience. It also made me realize just how many people’s efforts are behind a nomination like this.”
Beyond achievements and accolades, Rosé emphasized personal growth as her main focus moving forward. She spoke about wanting to remove limits she once placed on herself and embracing freedom in both life and music.
“I want to move closer to what I truly want without setting boundaries. I want to stop confining myself and continue discovering who I really am,” she said.
Looking ahead to 2026, Rosé shared a message of self-encouragement.
“I want to move forward freely, without fear. Even when difficult moments come, I want to tell myself to simply enjoy the journey and keep going.”
