Actor Jo Jung Suk has announced a temporary pause from his YouTube activities as he focuses on spending time with his growing family.
On January 19, Jo Jung Suk shared a handwritten letter on his YouTube channel “Cheonggyesan Daengi Records,” expressing gratitude to viewers who have continued to support and follow his content.

Celebrating Family and New Beginnings
In the letter, Jo Jung Suk revealed that the channel recently reached 500,000 subscribers, calling it a meaningful milestone. He also shared happy personal news, announcing the birth of his second daughter.
Jo Jung Suk married singer Gummy in 2018, and the couple welcomed their first child in 2020. With the arrival of their second daughter, the actor said he plans to dedicate more time to childcare.
“I Need to Focus on Parenting”
Explaining his decision, Jo Jung Suk wrote that regular uploads will be difficult for a while due to parenting responsibilities.
“Because of childcare, it may be hard to upload videos for the time being, so I wanted to let everyone know in advance,” he said.
He added that filming content had become more demanding than expected, and while fans’ comments such as “I’ll wait for the next video” gave him strength, they also created pressure.

Plans to Return Soon
Jo Jung Suk reassured fans that the break would be temporary.
“I will rest only for a short time and return as soon as possible,” he wrote. “When I come back, I hope to bring even more interesting stories and videos.”
He ended the message by asking fans to stay subscribed and promised to greet them again soon with new content.
With warm support from viewers and a new chapter beginning in his family life, Jo Jung Suk is taking a brief step back before returning to share more moments with fans.
