KATSEYE is set to reach a major career milestone, officially confirmed as performers at the 68th Grammy Awards, where the group will take the stage as part of a special showcase featuring this year’s Best New Artist nominees.
According to international media reports on January 21 (local time), the Recording Academy announced that KATSEYE will perform at the Grammy Awards, scheduled to take place on February 1 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The group will participate in a collaborative stage featuring all eight nominees in the Best New Artist category a spotlight reserved for emerging acts considered to be shaping the future of global music.
A Rare Opportunity for a Rookie Group
Being selected as a Grammy performer is a significant honor, particularly for a group still in its early career stage. The Best New Artist showcase is traditionally viewed as a platform that introduces rising artists to a broader global audience, often marking a turning point in their trajectory. For KATSEYE, the invitation underscores the group’s growing recognition within the U.S. music industry not only as nominees, but as live performers trusted to represent the next generation of pop on one of the world’s most prestigious stages.
Strong Presence Across Grammy Categories
In addition to their Best New Artist nomination, KATSEYE has also been nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with their single ‘Gabriela.’ The dual nominations highlight both their emergence as newcomers and their competitive presence within mainstream pop categories.
The group’s Grammy recognition follows a strong year on the charts. In 2025, KATSEYE entered the Billboard Hot 100 with ‘Gnarly’ at No. 82 and later climbed to No. 21 with ‘Gabriela.’ Their second EP, ‘BEAUTIFUL CHAOS,’ debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, further solidifying their position in the U.S. market.
Momentum Beyond the Grammys
KATSEYE’s global schedule continues beyond the awards season. The group is also confirmed to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this April, placing them among a select group of artists bridging mainstream pop success with major festival credibility.
