According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) on February 27, the group’s first English digital single ‘Perfect Night’ has surpassed 200 million cumulative streams as of January, earning a Double Platinum certification in the streaming category.
This marks LE SSERAFIM’s second Double Platinum streaming certification in Japan, following their 2022 hit ‘ANTIFRAGILE.’

The Certification Breakdown
The RIAJ grants streaming certifications based on cumulative play counts:
- Gold: 50 million streams
- Platinum: 100 million streams
- Double Platinum: 200 million streams
- Diamond: 500 million streams
With ‘Perfect Night’ crossing the 200 million mark, the track solidifies its status as one of the group’s most enduring releases in the Japanese market.
A Song With Staying Power
Released in 2023, ‘Perfect Night’ carries a message about finding joy even in imperfect days when surrounded by the right people. Member Huh Yunjin participated in writing the lyrics, which emphasize companionship and togetherness over perfection.
Despite being released several years ago, the track continues to perform strongly. It ranked high on Circle Chart’s 2025 year-end rankings, including the Global K-pop Chart, Digital Chart, and Streaming Chart a testament to its long-term popularity.
Expanding Streaming
LE SSERAFIM now holds five songs with over 100 million streams certified by the RIAJ. In addition to ‘Perfect Night’ and ‘ANTIFRAGILE’ (both surpassing 200 million streams), tracks such as ‘FEARLESS,’ ‘UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers),’ and ‘Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s Wife’ have all earned Platinum certification.
With consistent streaming growth and cross-market resonance, LE SSERAFIM continues to strengthen its foothold as a global K-pop force proving that ‘Perfect Night’ is far from over.
