Jung Chan Woo returned from the Army’s 3rd Corps, marking the end of his service one year and six months after enlisting in May 2024. Second iKON Member to Return

With Jung Chan Woo’s return, anticipation is rising for iKON’s future group and solo activities. The remaining members Bobby, Song Yun Hyeong, and Kim Dong Hyuk are currently serving in the military, while Koo Jun Hoe has not yet enlisted.

Industry insiders expect Chan Woo to resume schedules soon, preparing gradually for iKON’s next phase once the full lineup completes enlistment. His return marks another step toward the group’s long-awaited complete reunion.

A Career That Started Early

Before debuting as the maknae of iKON in 2015, Jung Chan-woo built a strong foundation as a child actor. He appeared in various hit dramas including KBS2’s The Great King Sejong, KBS2’s Boys Over Flowers, and SBS’s The Heirs. After transitioning into music, he rose to fame with iKON’s smash hits such as “My Type” and “Love Scenario”, both songs becoming cultural classics in Korea and abroad.

As he steps back into the entertainment industry after his service, fans are eager to see what new chapter unfolds for Chan Woo whether through music, acting, or both.
